Jess Clements

Having spent a large portion of her youth growing up and honing her singing and song writing talents in the New South Wales’ Southern Highlands, Jess Clements, like her open and intimate setting will leave you wide eyed and warmed throughout. Her strong husky voice delicately paired with rhythmic guitar stylings takes listeners on a blues, rock and folk journey not quickly forgotten.

Jess is an solo original singer-song writer who performs accompanied by her jet black acoustic guitar. With an ever growing repertoire of original songs that draws on person experiences, Jess will occasionally cover a favourite from her vast influences which include Etta James, Bjork and Bob Dylan. Having been performing on a small stage for several years Jess encountered a turn of scene when she played at this years Blues and Roots Festival in Byron Bay. Having seen Jess perform, Bluesfest co-owner offered Jess a place on the billing and her good fortunes have continued. Fresh from recording an original demo in Sydney, dazzling experience of Bluesfest and a winter of musical exploration, Jess is soon off to perform her new sounds and experience life ‘on the road’.
